Hemp Health Is A Great Idea

By Kari Ratliff

Some people might think that hemp health is related to marijuana, but it is not. Marijuana has high levels of THC, but in hemp, the THC is so low that it is not easy to detect. It does not cause intoxication, although it does make people feel very good about how they are taking care of their bodies.

Most people are familiar with the importance of Omega fatty acids, and the seeds have plenty of those. Omega 3 is known to be beneficial for the heart and brain, and when it's ingested regularly, the chance of heart disease is reduced. Omega 6 and amino acids are also plentiful in this product.

The seeds can be eaten like a handful of nuts, or mixed into the nut bowl for a boost of flavor. In fact, there are even hemp nuts available for purchase. They're good in cereals, or you can bake them into muffins, cookies, or breads. If you do buy these seeds, be sure to keep them refrigerated, or at least in a cool, dark place.

Aside from seeds, hemp oil is another way to ingest the benefits, and there are powders for sale, as well. The oil can be used in place of other types of oil, and the powder is used like any protein powder. It's possible to make milkshakes with it, or just add it to some juice for a tasty boost to your day.

Many health food stores also carry the milk product. The flavor is delicious, and it's filled with those helpful Omega 3 fatty acids. Some creative people have made it into ice cream, too. It's about time there's a way to have a delightful treat without feeling bad about your diet!

Hemp butter is tasty and creamy, and once again, Omega acids and protein are a natural part of the ingredients. Use it on bread, or mix it with your favorite seasonings for a tasty bagel spread option. People often use it for cooking and in baking recipes, and they are happy to know that they get all the flavor without the negative qualities of regular butter.

Something to remember is that this product is also healthy for the earth. There is a wide variety of products that are made nowadays, although they must be imported for legal reasons. Hemp makes great fabrics, and any type of clothing you can imagine is made from it. It's also an excellent ingredient for rope, bags, plastics, and much more. Yet if your main concern is with regard to your body, remember that aside from ingesting it, you can also use it in lotions and shampoos, and there are even medicinal applications.

If you are curious about hemp health, there is plenty of information online. Or speak with a distributor, and they will answer any questions you may have. This natural product has been around for thousands of years, and many thousands of people have taken advantage of the benefits.
