If this practice is used, the patience will not remain with scars, and the mole will never appear again. Most patients are advised to opt for laser treatment to remove their moles, although this is not a cheap surgery. Lasers are kept fix to the skin surface, with a grid, fact that makes them very precise, which is one of their main upsides. Also, lasers are so efficacious because they are controlled by computers and robots in totality.

Consequently, the risks of excessive bleeding, scaring and other damages are almost in-existent. Robots and computers are so popular these days because they provide impeccable results, while the errors are minimal. This is an extremely important feature, mainly when it comes to moles, as these are very sensitive. According to the size of the mole, will be established the number of laser sessions needed by the patient. However, if the mole is rather small, there will be needed only one laser session, unlike in the case of a big mole, when numerous visits to the dermatologists and sessions will have to be supported by the patient. Each time the doctors will put under anesthetics the potion of skin with the mole, so that the patient will not feel anything.

The anesthesia ought to make the area numb, and only few patients stated that they have felt some sort of tingling in the region. After the laser treatment, the area will need some recovery time, and it will probably be red or dark, while parts of the moles will still need to fall off, until it will be full recovered. For a fine recovery, you will have to take great care of the area and, most important, do not expose it to sunlight, or if you do, use sun block. Local anesthesia is made before the laser treatment. Some would rather opt for general anesthesia, which is not an advisable procedure in this situation. Surely, there also exists the risk of infection, only it is extremely low in contrast with the other types of surgeries. Still during the surgery are used only proper surgical gloves and specialized apparatus, in order to reduce this risk. Additionally, apart from a tiny scar and some skin discoloration that will vanish quickly, the area will look perfectly. Sometimes, the mole cannot be removed, and it just becomes slightly lighter.

The prices for a laser treatment begin at $50 and rise to $300, and even more sometimes. From case to case the price for a laser surgery can be very low, or very high, due to the special needs of every individual.
