Practice Natural Skin Care Using Common Ingredients You Have in the Kitchen

Want to make your own body scrub? Here's how. Zest about a fourth cup of lemon peel and add it to a half cup of brown or white sugar. Take a cup of grape seed oil or olive oil and add it in. Mix all the ingredients well. You can use a fork or your hands to do this. Leave the mixture to sit for 30 minutes then check if the oil and sugar have started separating. Oil on the sugar needs to be at least 1/2 inch. If the oil is less than that, add a bit more oil and re-mix. Once there's enough oil, it's ready to be used. Apply the scrub on your skin and do so in in a circular motion. Make sure you use lukewarm water for rinsing.

Strawberries are effective in controlling your glands' production of oil. Take care of your oily skin by making your own strawberry mask. Combine a half a cup of strawberries with a fourth a cup of cornstarch. The strawberry and cornstarch should form a paste. Apply on your skin and leave it there for 30 minutes. Wash the strawberry mask of with cool water. You'll immediately feel the difference. Your body's important to. Your face isn't the only part of you that you need to take care of. A natural body scrub you can make consists of 2 1/2 cups of sugar (white), 1 cup extra virgin olive oil, and 4 tablespoons lemon juice. Mix well until you've got a gritty paste. Apply the scrub on your body similar to how you'd apply regular body scrubs. Rinse with warm water. You can keep this mixture for up to two months in a jar with an air tight lid. If you want a longer shelf life for your body scrub, add some sea salt or vitamin E oil to it. This body scrub doesn't have to be refrigerated.
